Hurricane Idalia Information

Learn more about how we are helping our members

Hurricane Idalia is a hurricane that has adversely impacted Floridians in specific areas creating a State of Emergency, as declared by Governor DeSantis.

In response, please note that Humana Healthy Horizons of Florida is allowing for early refills of prescription drugs as well as ensure our members obtain the critical Medicaid covered services they need during and after Hurricane Idalia. Below is the updated impacted county listing as of the latest Executive Order. Humana Healthy Horizons in Florida will reimburse all critical Medicaid services without authorization for the counties in a state of emergency listed below.

Virtual care (telemedicine) services with MDLIVE

Our members can connect with board-certified, state-licensed doctors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via virtual visits with MDLIVE®.

As virtual visit experts, MDLIVE doctors can provide treatment for a variety of healthcare needs, including cold and flu symptoms, skin conditions, medication adjustments and prescription refills of many common drugs.

While members have access to this service, we also educate them about why and when to seek care from their primary care physician and/or a specialist, retail clinic, urgent care center or emergency room (ER).

To receive care via MDLIVE, our members can:
