Our dental plan portfolio
HumanaDental offers your clients comprehensive dental coverage for their employees with a range of flexible plan options. Our extensive network makes HumanaDental a valued benefit.
Traditional Preferred
Members can choose any dentist, but they get the added advantage of negotiated discounts for in-network dentists.
Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)
In-network dentists provide dental services at a reduced rate. Members have higher out-of-pocket costs for services received from out-of-network dentists.
Preventive Plus
Our most affordable plan covers services most often used, with the freedom to select any dentist.
Prepaid/Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO)
Dentists in the HumanaDental Prepaid/DHMO plan network provide services for a fixed fee. Out-of-network services aren't covered except in an emergency. This cost-effective plan encourages preventive dental care.
Advantage Plus
Network-based dental plans that emphasize prevention and cost control. Members select any participating general dentist in Advantage Plus network. Out-of-network services aren't covered except in an emergency.
Dual-choice options
Employers may offer dual-choice options to give employees more control of dental insurance decisions.
All plans are available as employer-sponsored, voluntary, or Administrative Services Only (ASO).
HumanaDental's flexible plans offer:
- Higher annual maximums
- Orthodontia options, including treatment for adults
- Prior carrier deductible credit
