Explore patient assistance programs for prescription savings

Drug costs can be expensive, even with health insurance. The good news—there are options available to help lower your costs and spread out your payments, including here at Humana.

Here are some financial assistance programs for you to explore. Before you start, please be aware you may not qualify for all of these programs. If you’re a Humana member, register or sign in to MyHumana now to access your plan.

Payment plans

A payment plan might help you manage your expenses, but they do not save you money or lower your drug costs.

Medicare Prescription Payment Plan

The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan is an optional program that can help you manage your prescription payments. With this program:

  • Costs for your covered Part D prescriptions are spread out over the plan year.
  • You pay $0 at the pharmacy when you fill new or existing covered Part D prescriptions.
  • You’ll receive a monthly bill from Humana with the amount you owe, your due date, and instructions on how to make a payment.
