Humana’s Healthy Life Coaching offers you personalized action plans and assistance from certified health and wellness coaches. Our health coaches are specially trained experts who will educate, motivate and support you with your tobacco cessation plans. Humana’s tobacco and vaping cessation coaching program also offers support for over-the-counter (OTC) nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) for ages 18+. Members may receive up to three, one-month supplies of NRT per benefit year at no cost to them. You can enroll by using our toll-free number 877-567-6450. Humana’s health coaches work closely with members to form a lasting bond while implementing behavior change techniques along the way. A strong connection between coach and member allows greater success in motivating and inspiring change.
Humana offers a cessation program for all forms of tobacco use, including cigarettes, snuff, chewing tobacco and e-cigarettes/vaping for Humana-insured FEHB plan members.

Participants can receive over-the-counter and prescribed medications that are approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for tobacco cessation with:
- No copayments
- No coinsurance
- No deductibles
- No annual or lifetime dollar limits
To receive over-the-counter cessation drugs at no charge, patients must obtain a prescription from their physician or other healthcare professional.
